a2 Milk™ 3-minute shake (Serves 1)
You Will Need
- 1 teaspoon vanilla* extract
- 1 cup whole a2 Milk™
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- *TIP: You can change the extract for more flavours!
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender, secure lid and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
a2 Milk™ Tuna Mornay (Serves 2-4)
You Will Need
- ¼ cup Nuttelex
- 2 tablespoons Lauke's Gluten Free Easy Baker bread flour
- 2 cups a2 Milk™
- ½ teaspoon Keen's mustard powder
- 1 cup shredded (Jersey cow) Gouda cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (425g) cans tuna packed in water, drained
- 1 (425g) can of corn, drained
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup crushed potato chips
- 1 pinch smoked paprika, for garnish
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat. Stir in the flour until smooth and continue to cook and stir for 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually stir in the milk so that no lumps form. Return to the hotplate and heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and whisk in the mustard powder. Season with salt and pepper.
Flake the tuna and stir it into the sauce along with the parsley and corn. Transfer to a baking dish. Smooth down and add a layer of sliced hard boiled eggs. Crunch the potato chips over the sliced egg and top with the Cheddar cheese. Dust very lightly with smoked paprika.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown. Serve with rice or rice/corn/vegetable pasta!
a2 Milk™ Berry Smoothie (Serves 2-4)
You Will Need
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 cup frozen yoghurt (wild berry flavour)
- 500ml a2 Milk™
- Optional: 2 tablespoons whey protein powder
Directions
Combine all ingredients in jug, and using barmixer, blend until smooth.
